Useful Flash - Guitar Tuner

I recently bought a new guitar and I was wondering if there were any cool tools online that would allow me to tune easily. I wanted something interactive that I could just browse to and have work. Oh yeah, I like when it is free too ;). I ran upon this interactive guitar tuner. I thought this was one of the most useful examples of Flash I have ever seen. Basic, intuitive, functional. Thought I'd share.

I think this kind of technology is great. I saw this one a while ago, it was a macromedia site of the day.

Its a central app to learn songs by learning the tabs.

Interesting - thanks for the post Simeon.

There are lots of online guitar lessons out there but some of the most efficient lessons are here http://valueprep.com/lessons/guitar-lesson.html
take care

Want to tune your guitar from your mobile phone?
I am part of a team that did a university project in early 2007 on this subject.
We actually created the first platform independent (java2ME) mobile phone tuner for all java enabled
mobile phones that actually tunes your guitar by using the microphone to record your tones.
A trial version is available as a free download at http://www.yourinfocentral.com/mobileguitartuner
